Queen

The film Queen, directed by Dijo Jos Antony, can be classified as a cinematic work belonging to the campus drama thriller genres.

The narrative is set in an engineering college, where a new intake has just commenced in the mechanical department. After a year, a new female student joins the department, and the existing students collectively decide to ignore her. However, she quickly wins the hearts of her peers, and a number of events occur on campus. One such event is a visit to her orphanage, where she spent her whole life. One day, she suddenly becomes unconscious, and after being admitted to hospital, it is diagnosed that she has cervical cancer. Gradually, her presence became a source of ennui and despondency. She made a final visit to university during the Onam festivities, during which time she and her peers partook in the celebrations. Upon her return from the university, she was subjected to a gang rape, which ultimately resulted in her demise. The police apprehended one accused individual; however, the students ascertained that this individual was a false accused person. Consequently, they embarked on a mission to identify the genuine perpetrators of the crime. It was revealed to them that the true perpetrators were high-ranking political figures. However, the students were detained by law enforcement following the intervention of the original perpetrators. The narrative culminates with the intervention of an elderly advocate, who steps in to assist the protagonists.

The narrative was of substandard quality, and the direction was unconventional in the broader context. However, the cinematography and technical aspects were commendable, and the musical score merited particular attention. The scenes in the courtroom were adequate, but the film did not offer significant value for a one time watching.

After getting a lot of good reviews from my friend's circle, I decided to give a try for this one. But it was not a good move. I can say that the first 30 minutes Jebin Joseph Antony took us through our college life and enjoyed those moments.Queen made disappointed very well and she was overacting. The last 30 minutes was the satisfying part of this film and it was well presented by Salim Kumar and Sreejith Ravi. However, it's an average movie and only recommend for college students :-)

This Film Is Attractive In Many Ways. The First Half Of The Film which is 1 - hour long is the highlight of the film. They've Said All About The Mech. Branch. Right From Their Smiling Faces to their department fights... We Can Just Watch the film for this thing... The Department Fight Scene Is AWESOME in all aspects From The Expressions of the actors to the BGM.... It will Give GooseBumps..

I am Giving 9/10 Because Of The Overacting Of THE QUEEN and the serious and dull second half...

Saniya Iyyapan Who've acted as the MECH QUEEN is bad everywhere.. She's Just Overdoing Her Role.....

The Second Half Is The Place where we'll miss the fun of mech branch boys BUT ANYHOW, You Can Watch The Once and the 1-HOUR First Half can be watched as many times as you can because IT IS AWESOME

Considering that it is the debut movie of director and most of them are new faces, movie can be rated very good. Felt that actress overacted a bit in first part. The message conveyed is too good. Any women, any where, any time, is not an opportunity, but responsibility of a Man to keep her safe. God has designed Man to be protector of Women, not destroyer. Great movie to watch.
