फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
If you've always been a fan of Chris Noth, whether he's playing Mike Logan or Mr Big or that guy in The Good Wife, you'll enjoy Gone. The stories are well written, and, happily, entirely realistic, and the acting is perfectly pitched - no scenery chewing, but enough emotion to keep the viewer entertained.
Leven Rambin is excellent as the female lead - she does a very commendable mix of tough, smart, and vulnerable, and works well with Noth, Danny Pino, and the regulation nerdy guy.
And the funky, high-tech plane the team gets around in is a real treat - it's a nicely original take on the currently fashionable, ultra-sophisticated investigation tools cop shows use these days.
The cast has obviously gelled quickly, and their combined professionalism delivers an interesting, very watchable, show.

Was really looking forward to watching GONE, especially with the experience of Noth and Pino. The idea of a rescued child abductee being offered a job to join a Special Task Force Team only because she was abducted as a child, was a bit far fetched. But thought will still give it a go. And gee, what a drag Leven Rambin's character is. Sorry but her bad acting is just atrocious for the character she portrays. Being a self defence instructor is bad enough to watch, but giving a kid a gun that she has absolutely no idea how to use, she takes charge bursting into houses . Just cannot get past how this actress hasn't even been taught how to use a gun, yet alone handle one. A real shame as all the other actors fit into GONE superbly. Chris Noth is just so chill and classy, would be so much better if he was given more of the lead, I mean he is the boss after all.
GONE is a recent series about an FBI task force tasked with investigating cases of missing persons as soon as they occur.
Chris Noth, the ever-present Mr. Big from SEX AND THE CITY plays agent Frank Booth, a veteran who leads the unit and breaks paradigms by inviting her to be a beautiful young kidnap victim many years ago.
The idea is to have someone on the team who knows the subject from the side of the victim and who, after releasing by Booth himself, spent his life studying this type of case as self-defense.
The protagonist is the Texas actress Leven Rambin, seen in TRUE DETECTIVE 3 and HUNGER GAMES. She lives Kick Lannigan, still traumatized by the violence she suffered as a girl, but able to see clues and details that go unnoticed by other agents. Next to her is the great Danny Pino (from LAW AND ORDER S.V.U. and COLD CASE), a tense agent willing to solve cases as soon as possible.
The trio make up a fascinating team to be seen. Another point of interest is to see the diversity of cases that GONE brings to the screens. Screenwriters have to strive to create completely different cases to attract viewers. There are already twelve episodes of the first season, as there is still no news of a series renewal.
GONE is a great cop series with many new features in its genre.

GONE is a procedural thriller with terrific character development and backstory. The show is anchored by Kick Lannigan (Leven Rambin) who was abducted as a young girl, and Frank Booth (Chris Noth) the FBI agent who rescued her. This dynamic, and the abduction that still haunts Kick, give the show emotional depth. The pilot sets up the basic premise: Frank recruits Kick to join a small team of agents tasked with finding victims of abduction. The excellent writing distinguishes GONE from ordinary procedural, and the acting is superb. I watched the second episode and I was hooked. The limited series peaks in the middle of the season -- episode 6 entitled "Don't Go" is a stunner -- and by the end I was ready for GONE, Season Two.
I want more, watched this in 4 Days, the backstory is fashinating and you need to look at more than one episode to understand Gone! Im waiting and hoping for next season!
