Of course it is a localized copy of the great movie 'Sound of Music' and it's not a reason to hate this movie. Yes I didn't watch it on theater and I never received any good suggestion to watch it either. But I had to watch it as a part of a project I'm involved with and I liked it. A huge praise must go for Ashan Dias who plays the captain. And for someone, it could be the whole reason to watch the movie. Pooja is OK. Though she is not perfect in delivering the dialog, she surely understands the character. On the other hand, Ashan nails the character with his perfectly tuned expressions.
It has some good songs and good music. And some of the child actors are really good. And for the worst part, some of the actors are ruining it. It could have been a way better movie if those actors were good enough. And if some dialogs are changed in to more practical ones.
But overall, I see a good entertaining movie for the regular Sri Lankan family.
