Kerem always amazes me with his acting skills and how he presents each character he is portraying. The way he portrayed Ali's pain and conflict in this series, with his eyes and expressions; it's absolutely AMAZING! You can truly feel what the character is feeling and experiencing when you see it in the actor's eyes. Those who work with him are very lucky to have a PHENOMENAL and ENTHUSIASTIC ACTOR like him!! Bravo! HIS TALENT AND ACTING SKILLS ARE SIMPLY UNMATCHED!!! He embraces all his roles and characters like very few can. He is a joy to watch in everything he appears in. Looking forward to all future projects.

I like a good storyline with a good dialogue, and this series fulfilled that indeed. Kerem Bursin was very good considering that it was 2017 and he was in the beginning of his career. True there was no chemistry between the lead characters but she is truly beautiful and depended on that alot. Other actors were definitely better than her in acting.

Interesting storyline. There is action, complex human relations and love (but not too much love). Kerem Bürsin does amazin work in this series.

I came across this gem of a series in which I was introduced to the wonderful Kerem Bursin.. this series really is such a beautiful gem I think Ali Smith will always have a part of my heart Kerem was outstanding in all the drama and he really knows how to show the emotions.... The hospital scene broke my heart like anyone else who has watched!

Turkish shows are not shown anywhere in my country most people here wouldn't even know of their existences but I can now confirm how much of a KB fan I have become and looked forward to all Kerem's performances. My wish is he shows this drama in an English speaking role soon.

The leads have no chemistry at all ! Kerem carried the show but otherwise the show is quite average !

This series is really amazing, full of surprises AND ALI SMITH was really a wonderful character, Kerem Bursin does a wonderful work, and the whole team do a great job.

The series seems to have a little resemblance to Kerem's personal life, at least with him being away from Istanbul during his growing-up years. I'm not a sucker for the sad endings but it seems the series is hoping for a second season. I just hope so. I can imagine Ali's son is now grown up and Ali is teaching him how to box.

The best drama. Kerem Bürsin is an amazing actor.

Another of Kerem's works that captured my heart was the role of Ali Smith in the TV series "Heart of the City".

When his father kills his mother in front of a five-year-old boy, his world collapses in an instant. The experienced shock leaves a mark in the soul of a child for life. And it's a blessing that there is a person nearby who was able to warm and protect the boy, to become the closest to him. The ship's cook, Rauf, who unwittingly witnessed this terrible tragedy, hides Ali on the ship, thereby saving his life.

For many years, protecting and caring for the boy, Mama Rauf, as the team calls him, helps Ali overcome pain and fear and brings up a very decent and kind person in him. And among other things, he teaches Ali boxing. The way he knows how. The way this sport sees it. And also because he knows the secret of Ali's real father and really hopes that one day he will be able to return his son to his father.

And one day such a moment comes.

But life is full of unexpected twists and turns. She brings Ali's life paths together not only with his own father, but also with the girl who has become the meaning of Ali's life.

It's a wonderful series! The plot is not boring or drawn out. The main characters are so cute and romantic! Leyla is beautiful, gentle, and so romantic! The most memorable moment was when the couple found out the gender of their child, which was so touching! This is one of Kerem Bursin's best works. Unlike Yigit in "A Matter of Honor," Kerem is a kind and loving guy who would do anything for his loved ones! I would like to especially mention Kerem's work on this role, as he trained extensively to truly look like a professional boxer on camera. However, I was disappointed with the ending of the series, as the writers chose an unfair conclusion.

The series starts brightly, with beautiful seascapes, new faces and of course a very tragic story that happened to Ali in childhood. Kerem Bursin, as always, is wonderful, good acting, emotionality. Ali is proud, stubborn, it is difficult for him to change his mind. He wants to trust people, sees good in them, sincerely tries to help, but in response he gets a blow to the heart. Istanbul and people torment him. There are a lot of moments that simply tear you apart from the inside. The actors managed to convey the pain and suffering as much as possible. And the pictures of the past are shown in such a way that tears flow. The series is simply imbued with drama, but all this is perfectly complemented by magnificent views, scenery, the entourage of the scenes is excellent! In general, a very beautiful series, romance and drama on the edge.
