I've seen better acting in a child's Nativity Play. This is just awful. The idea of the story line isn't too bad, but this as a film no. 90 mins of my life I won't get back!

There's a rash of Bloody Killings in an Upstate New York Town , for No apparent reason ...... or is there ?!

" CLAW " Boasts an exceptional Cast of relative newcomers : Justin Pavia as the milquetoast 'Kevin' & Lina Tanille as the studious serial-killer aficionado 'Tiffani' ; & the third top star is someone who's synonymous with great acting talent & Beauty beyond compare : Tina Krause as the fun-loving , slightly mischievous , & downright Horney 'Ella' ; & if your not yet familiar with Ms. Krause , this is a fine movie to watch to catch up .

Prominent Actor & Indie Star Big Tim O'Hearn is the lecherous & slightly scary Cab Driver escorting the Trio to the B&B in the rural Town of Swamp Hollow . He seems to set the tone for the evil misgivings to follow . Anthony Edward Curry is the local bartender 'Steve' , who Ella has taken a Fancy to .

Sarah Constable plays the local girl 'Sandy' , who is partial to Sex & Money ; & Stunning Sam Carlsson Velasco is 'Gina' , the young lady that's seemingly senselessly Murdered at the beginning of the flik . Barbara Gjelaj is utterly frightening as the good looking 'Gypsy' . Robert Beach is Ella's ex-boyfriend 'John' ; & David Palmieri , himself , rounds out the small but superb Cast as the 'Drunk' hitting on Tiffani .

There's just the right amount of blood & gore & the music sets a good mode to the film , except , of course , for Kevin's singing . The Tale flows along nicely , with just enough humor to keep your senses from getting burned out .

I have seen many horror movies and some are quite good, some are ok, and some are downright terrible. This movie is so bad in all aspects that I don't know where to start. There is no tension, no suspense, no surprises (there is a twist at the end but it's quite lame), and as far as the whole story goes, there is really nothing to explore, nothing to question, nothing to have any effect on the whole premise of the plot which is really non-existant. I knew from the middle of the movie that I should turn it off and go to another movie, but I thought something would pop up and give hope to this awful movie, but it was not forthcoming. My advice: don't even think of wasting your time on this dud.

Badly paced and exceedingly boring, "Claw" certainly didn't grab my attention. It feels like a student film, with amateurish cinematography, flat and emotionless acting, clumsy dialogue, and a plot which fails to go anywhere interesting. While the three protagonists are supposed to be friends, their incessant arguing and abrasive personalities just highlights that they were thrown together randomly by a seemingly inexperienced scriptwriter, rather than being fully realised characters the viewer could care about. Worse, there's no tension, suspense, credible mystery, or even decent b-grade horror movie gore to make up for the rest of the film's weaknesses. Avoid : there's better things to waste your time on.
