I am far to be an admirer of Woody Allen. But I like very much this film. The basic virtues - performances : Kevin Eldon proposing fair portrait of efficient medic Rubinstein, young Adam Bregman offering to his Brien- Alvy admirable trats of young man fascinated by a star , imiting and , in final, discovering himself grace to his idol.

A film about Judaism and be Jew , perfect illustrated by the radical change of good boy when Bar Mitzvah becomes just him.

Amusing, of course, ironic, no doubts, but more important, admirable crafted , preserving the special style of old Jew humor.
