फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
*The Encounter* is a faith-based TV series that blends spiritual themes with real-life challenges. Each episode presents a unique story where characters facing personal struggles encounter a mysterious man, portrayed as Jesus, who offers them wisdom and guidance. What stands out is how the show tackles various human experiences-addiction, broken relationships, and crises of faith-in a relatable and compassionate way.
The acting is solid, and the storytelling is heartfelt without feeling preachy. It's great for those looking for a show that explores moral dilemmas through a Christian lens while leaving room for personal reflection. If you're seeking something that inspires hope and encourages spiritual growth, *The Encounter* is definitely worth watching!

On a Pureflix page, they compare this to "Touched By An Angel," which is just plain blasphemy. That show had great writing with actual depth, authenticity, and good production value. This... immature writing and sub par production. Flat, uninspired, no nuance - it's like a student film. Why, why, why do they keep doing this? Why, why, why does the audience keep watching? They've conditioned people to accept such bad quality. Please, Christian viewers, demand more. This won't reach a single non believer and it only lends to the view that Christians are bad filmmakers. They should be better than mainstream. That's the only way to reach beyond the walls of the church.
I loved The Encounter movie, and the series is just as good. Each episode has a solid plot where someone is facing trouble or a turning point in their life, and Jesus appears in the flesh to help them through. The series is scripturally sound, and very entertaining.
After watching The Encounter (original movie), and The Encounter: Paradise Lost and enjoying both, I was really looking forward to this series. It didn't disappoint. I really enjoy it Bruce Marchiano's modern-day portrayal of Jesus. He is warm and friendly, and gives a loving touch to the relationship Jesus Christ desires to have with each one of us. I binge-watched the first season, then had to wait for each new episode of the second season to come out! I look forward to each new episode...and only wish there were more episodes to a season!
A true masterpiece of storytelling and inspiration. The movies and this series portray God in the most perfect way possible. He does not need us we need Him and he proves this by allowing us to create our own failed destinies and plans to show us He has the better one. Just brilliant. This show needs 20 seasons
