Who's Watching Oliver

It's much ado about nothing.....for the love of Darwin, don't watch this "film" and save an 1h and a half of your lives you'll never get back...

Thailand. A bizarre young man. Decent mix of horror and romance, old cliches not bad used and not plausible situations. Crumbs of Snow White and Psycho, naked bodies and large levels of sadism. Enough for not awful movie.

I'm sorry, but this movie is not scary in any way. It's just scene after scene of disgusting behavior. The ending is no surprise. It's really not even disturbing because it is just over-the-top ridiculous. I tend to value plot and meaning...and neither of the two exist here.

Oliver is a lonely person, messed up by his upbringing. He has regular chats with his mother, who eggs him on in rather sinister ways. The story is quite twisted. Scenes are either his apartment or an amusement park in Thailand. He dresses pretty much as a nerd, with a camera round his neck. He speaks in a very tentative fashion. Each day he takes two pills and then goes to the park. He hopes to meet women, or at least is told by his mother to meet women. His mother treats him like a little boy, and he obeys. And he assaults and kills women while he is live streaming to his mother, and disposes of their bodies in a vat, and tosses the bones into a river. His mama is very perverted, and he must obey her. He happens to meet Sophia, who had a messed up childhood, was in a cult, but escaped. They seem to hit it off very well, getting along like children, which of course will not sit well with his mother. In fact, mama will not let anything stand between him and her, so Sophie had better be "gone". A very twisted tale of a mother's love. A very perverted mother at that. Oh, Oliver finds he likes cats, and not to kill them.

Yeah I'm into dark stuff but this is a what for movie. Just sickening crap for the sake of crap. Nothing can come from a film like this. Some sick puppy made this, and this would feed and encourage a sick sick mind. Foul But.,, I'll be fair and say that there was talent here not only in the acting but the the entire production. I just wish there was more to the story which was where the film fails miserably.
