फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
Just watched the first episode and I gotta say it's pretty entertaining, nothing great but does not try to. It's like a funny version on X-Flies, the pairing of Craig Robinson and Adam Scott is what makes the show fun, they're an odd couple and have great comic chemistry, the two start in the dreadfully unfunny Hot Tub Time Machine 2(2015).
The effects are good on a T.V. budget. Everybody here plays it perfectly straight next to the comedy of Robinson and Scott. The show has a Ghostbusters and Men in Black like feel to it, I hope it goes for 3 or 4 seasons, the show never takes itself too seriously, and that is the enjoyment of it.

It seems like the show was originally 10 episodes, but for some reason they decided to force 6 really bad wannabe The Office episodes in before the finale.
Episode 16 appears to pick up where episode 9 ended, with none of the previous 6 episodes seemingly having affected the storyline whatsoever.
Episodes 10-15 also introduced a bunch of characters that are gone again in the finale.

The show was cute at the start then they had like a change mid season and brought in a bigger cast to make it more of an ensemble comedy. They added some really talented comedic actors and the show just needed a little time to come into its own. They also change the way the show was shot. It started out shot with regular sit-com style camera work, then went to like a POV type camera shots like the show the office. This really comes out when binge watching. Lastly if you watch on HuLu episode 16 is out of order. Based on content, cast, and story line I think it should have been episode 2. So 15 should have been the last episode.
They started out as essentially a parody of The X-Files, doing a comedic monster of the week until Episode 10.
Then, when that didn't do well, not only did they go off the air for more than 6 months, (they actually went off the air after Episode 9), but they also got a new Showrunner, in Paul Lieberstein, who played Toby on The Office (US), (he is also Creator of The Office (US) Greg Daniels' brother-in-law in real life), and ran that show from Season 5 to Season 8.
He took over, and from Episode 11 to Episode 15, it was essentially The Office or Parks and Recreation, (or a show like those), except in a show that started out as a wasted The X-Files parody.
It also changed the plot a bit, with them obviously being unable to do a monster of the week thing, (at least, they couldn't have done it well.) Paul decided that the best plot would be for them to sit in an office all day, being boring and unfunny, worrying about how their office was bugged. There was even a whole episode trying to find, and follow, the wire.
Which, was so bad that it was funny, so I guess there could be some fake points, or something, there.
Then, the last episode? It's like the first half again. After a solid ending to Episode 15, me being kind of sort of hyped up for the series again, they switch the style YET AGAIN, and essentially leave that storyline unresolved. (But, they do answer another storyline, in the last episode/series finale episode, sort of.) I'm not sure if this was an episode from before Paul came on, or if he just wanted to have the series (he probably thought season at the time, if he did do this) finale episode be like the first half of the season, but either way it's confusing and annoying.
There. It's not a full on review, but I feel like semi-thoroughly explaing how this series changed it's style halfway through, is enough, lol!
Thanks for reading, if you did, lol!

The episodes up to Episode 9 were perfection. Not sure what happened after that but it's like the joyful soul of the show was snatched away. After Episode 9, I'm not sad that this show was cancelled. If the events had gone differently, I would've been down for the ride. It's like they hired the writers of "Hello, Ladies" after Episode 9 or something.
