फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
Eleven Days is a coming of age story in the midst of racism, violence and discrimination. You will be vested in the story from the first few scenes scenes. Two thumps up for me.
Excellent story on the journey of a young man to fulfill his duty to his family. I thought the beginning was a little rushed to set the stage for the young man's journey, but after viewing a second time decided that it was necessary to set the arc of that character and for character development through interaction with other elements of his journey (other characters, different cultures, various levels of prejudice, learning how to trust, forming bonds and friendship, developing a steely determination).
There were two very nicely intertwined journeys in the story, that of the young man and of his older brother who signed up in the military for reasons of vengeance. The crew definitely pulled it off well, bringing both story arcs of the brothers to a touching conclusion. Cinematography was stunning, the notable ones for me being the vast desolate desert and the beaches at the end.
Special mention needs to be given to Jit Singh's talent for conveying emotions very effectively through body language and facial expression. He really pulls you in and makes you part of his journey from start to end.

I was not sure what to expect from this Australian film. Initially I was attracted to it because of the great reviews. And it did not disappoint. Sure, it is not Hollywood blockbuster but don't let that keep you from watching it. A great storyline, great acting, wonderful locations keeps you wondering how it will end. Many of today's (and timeless) themes of the underdog, prejudice and differing cultures are present in this movie. And Director Jaginder Singh does a masterful storytelling job. The acting does not disappoint either.
I recommend this little Australian gem. You wont be disappointed.
Wow, what a lovely film this is! Such wonderful cinematography and a beautiful, well done story. Really great!
Eleven days filmed very realistically. everything seems very real to me. Childs mentality, hot blood of youth, and calmness of fatherhood. beautiful written story and very well directed. good shot selection of nature. must watch
