This is one of the most unpolished, barebones, boring video games I have ever played in my life. This game makes the likes of Alekhine's Gun look good...

Why on earth have I played so many bad games in my life?

Please avoid this unless you're just looking for an easy platinum trophy.

Magus simply cannot be considered a finished game. It has an ambition in game design that doesn't seem to have been fully realized, with environments that feel like a random pile of assets thrown together to fake some sense of planning, paired with mediocre 3D models and almost non-existent animations. The "game" also lacks any real tutorial, relying only on tiny bottom-screen texts that are easy to miss, and when combined with mechanics that can simply be ignored to finish the game, it makes me think most players didn't even discover or understand them.

But I can't say it doesn't provide 2-3 hours of fun. It's a harmless game that honestly feels more like a college project or a demo for an indie game.

Magus is a title for the Playstation 3, it's hard to believe looking at it. It's not that the graphics are bad, that's never been an issue for me but the whole thing looks terribly dated.

You play the titular Magus, a man with three schools of magic (That all look the same except for the colour) roaming through the world battling enemies (Who mostly look the same) in a hugely repetitious title.

The story is nondescript, the action is offensively easy and the campaign can be finished double quick.

Magus is great for Trophy Hunters even if it is a grind but for someone looking for a fantasy or action fix this is certainly not a place to find it.
