I like this movie a lot. The way this topic handled is amazing..Atul, Praveen, etc actor's justify their characters. We never saw this kind of movie earlier.

Black bud a dream like narration does not belong to any specific time or place .. It just there ...characters that hook into each other . Brilliant Performances by Atul Kulkarni, Himarsha and Amol Kale..edgy and raw.

The movie employs a strong storyline, supported by some great performances.

Atul Kulkarni and the rest of the cast bring a subtle energy to the unabashed characters.

Most scenes are well written, and keep one at the edge of one's seat, and the soundtrack does well to bolster the screenplay. Pacing is a bit off in some places, however, and the raw simplicity of the movie might be an acquired taste.

But the sincerity of the narrative comes together to deliver an unusual, engrossing experience.

Tom Dear Amol Kale, Feels so proud of you. You have learnt and executed everything about film making in your own way. Camera work is very unusual and engaging. Its an Art movie as we see from layman's eye. You could capture the grittiness and grim nature for Mumbai so well. Its the night time of Mumbai captured amazingly. Each character is given due importance so audience can develop their perception correctly. Its said that every art form is a self portrait and here its no doubt you in the Mehboob Khan's avatar. You as Sultan is convincing but for me its more of appreciation for an old friend acting in a film. Wish you great sucess with many more amazing projects ahead.

Black Bud film has an interesting story line. Totally loved the plot of the film. The film concept is very unique and it's like an art film, it's very deep, but there are a few loopholes. The film is extremely slow. Basically, when the scene shifts from one to another scene it's not very clear as to what is happening, We get the understanding after a while. It isn't smooth. There could be something more happening but a few scenes are stretched and useless. Whereas, the direction is superb, the cinematography is also amazing. Could have been more interesting as the storyline is really amazing. Overall it's a one time watch.
