फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
I'll keep it short: If you are a fan of the True Crime genre you will probably like this series. It follows "the usual patterns" and executes the documentation and narrative quite well. It is nothing "special" but definitely one of the better shows of this kind I have seen in a while.
Unfortunately a few of the cases have already been documented/discussed in a lot of detail on other shows, but there are quite a few which I have never heard of before.
If you are done watching "The Jinx", "Making a Murderer" and I guess "The Killing Season" and liked those shows you will find some entertainment in this one, too.
Overall i would recommend it, 7/10.

I don't know if woukd even help, or has been investigated. But if Steve's brother Brian's alibi was confirmed by time via video from surveillance system at his parents' house, the time on video cameras can be manipulated to show he was there at the time said. I saw this done on another ID crime show. I'm not sure if the video timer only was what was supposed to corroborate his alibi or not. Just food for thought.
The stories are rehashed & many don't have a conclusion. After years of watching I realized most of the crimes are unsolved. Which may be useful in catching the suspect eventually. But it makes me feel like I wasted an hour of my time. Also I can't stand the way the show is narrated by a "People reporters" writers, or whatever they're supposed to be. The set up is weird & they stare into the camera alone then talk to the audience like they're to toddlers. It's bizarre & cringe. It always gets on my nerves. So I deleted the DVR recordings & won't watch anymore. Maybe they think this format sets them apart. But I see from other reviews that I'm not alone in my aggravation..
Marc in particular, presents like he's reading a book to a 5 year old. Overall, toning down the fakie, cheese, over the top story telling, would be nice.
I like the stories though, and will keeping watching, even through the regular cringy narrations.

I don't know how to reach the producers, but I would like to suggest a high-profile very cold case that should be investigated by someone. There appears to have been a cover-up of the murder of Valerie Percy back in the 60s. It remains unsolved. Valerie was the daughter of Charles Percy, a prominent US Senator from Illinois. Her twin sister, Sharon, is married to former governor and US Senator of West Virginia, Jay Rockefeller. Valerie was murdered in her bedroom at her parents' home. I think this could be an interesting episode for the TV series on ID Channel. Thanks.
