Fantastic story, awesome music, brilliant characters and good direction.

Love the way the movie has been woven around different characters and their struggles, but only one panacea can get them going - Guru Nanak's Bani. It has been believed by some that Guru Granth Sahib's verses are a way of life which helps a human live in peace, harmony and truth, but the message has not been delivered in the right manner for ages. This movie gives a glimpse into why one should connect to Guru Granth Sahib and live accordingly. We all have made God, Destiny and Religion a mysticism..... But Guru Nanank did not, he simplified "Dharam" and showed us how to earn "Dharam" being a householder by living in his "divine law". Gippy Grewal - Thank you for giving us Ardaas!

Gippy greawal has literally done a fantastic job on the screenplay and direction, excellent script, great performance by actors, it's nearly hard to mention a point where this movie lacked. it is gem to watch and leaves you with a beautiful message. With younger generation forgetting the importance of gurubani, or not able to seek the right knowledge. This movie makes you at a look at a insight.

Film Was Slow Throughout The 2 Hours And Felt Long & Stretched But This Is The Only Negative In The Film. Gippy Grewal Choose Right Script For His Directorial Debut But Still Need To Learn More. Film Was Pure Prefection In Around Pre And Post Interval Time But Pace Restrict The Prefect Praises. Performance Wise Gurpreet Ghuggi How Badly He Is Wasted In Industry. Ammy Virk Shows His Energy And Was Better Than In Angrej. Rana Ranbir Is Genius. Rest All Are Good Too. Finally Another Punjabi Film Which I Liked. Rating : 7/10 (Being A Bit Lineat Ignoring Length Factor)

My first review. Seeing this film made me write it. It may not be a masterpiece but its execution, and the essence leaves all those masterpieces way behind. A faint smile that comes over time. The Punjabi cinema is reaching dizzy heights and rest need to emulate.

It is story of common people. A great representation of their stories. The simple words that can solve all problems.

The acting is superb. Good to see comedians shed out their garb and prove how good actors they are.The movie may need a little more editing and a slight shorter length. A patchwork of lives intervened by a thin thread. A lesson of life.Something, to lean back to.Just find the movie and watch it.

This movie got to be the best movie i ever watched from punjabi cinema. The direction is excellent by Gippy Grewal and the main lead role done by Gurpreet Ghuggi is just awesome. It has also very nice music and songs especially Kawa wali Panchait.. The movie gave us very informative message based on guru granth sahib ji gurbani. Like how everyone is suffering in their lives and the only solution is too learn the teachings of guru sahib and apply in their lives to avoid sorrow in life. it gives the message about fetal death of the girls, being pardesi, rise of unemployment in Punjab and drugs in punjab. Director has experimented real well by applying different positive social messages into one movie. we have different characters in the movie, which they all acted quite well. I recommend this movie to every human being. if you understand punjabi, then you will relate more to it. but even though you can 't understand punjabi can watch with subtitles to know more about human issues .

Before watching Ardaas, I wasn't expecting such heartbreak. This film tells us how many sacrifices the life takes from us. We meet characters that have lost something in their respective lives. We see that in the end, life brings everyone to the same level where happiness, sorrow and sacrifices are inevitable. Gurpreet Ghuggi's character Master Gurmukh Singh is the back-bone of the film. Almost all the characters are significant and are done well. The story advances from negativity to positivity in a promising way. Watch this film today to see life more closely.

Truly touching and beautiful. well-directed! the plot is great and the story unfolds slowly. if you don't like slow-paced movies, this is not for you..

A pure family drama movie that tries to take us to different dimensions of life and shows us how to face different problems in life.

This is one of the best movies I ever watched. It's full of emotions. Story, direction, and acting by all the lead actors, including the child artists is no less than perfect. A must watch as many times as one likes. It's a family movie.

Worst acting and direction. Gippy Grewal is a great actor, I don't know how he got wrapped around this nonsense over dramatic film with a very poor cast and story. This story is probably stolen from Amitab and Rajesh khanna Anand movie. Except Anand movie has superstars and top direction. Ghuggi ji whom I like a lot did not perform to A grade level, at the best he was C grade. Movie was stretched out, Grewal ji tried to make viewers emotional but quite honestly there was no punch to his story. All the actors are good but did not fit the role. However I did a Ardas, God please end movie soon, cant waste more time.

Ardaas might be a movie based on Sikhism but it definitely connects one to Allah (God). If your connection with the God is pure and strong nothing will put you down.

A movie filled with different experiences and lessons on how to pass through all hardships. How to be positive in the situations where one can easily put their selves down.

A must watch Movie, where Master g ( Gurpreet ghuggi) himself had gone through worst however his belief in Waheguru and his teachings make him a person with high morale and positivity. One can learn many things from this film such as patience, reliance on Allah, positive behavior, empathy for others around us, endurance and love. Just love every bit of this movie. As a Muslim, it makes my bond stronger with my Rabb Allah.
