The crew are using a hydraulic ram to push the cabinet in the vault over and when the pipe breaks they go to get another one. But when they attach the new pipe you can see that the equipment they are using is not a hydraulic ram at all, but the drill they were using to cut the holes. Also, to push the cabinet over, they use the wheel for pushing the drill in to move the ram to push the cabinet over instead of the ram using the hydraulic fluid so the new pipe serves no purpose at all.

Brian says that the cabinet is bolted into the concrete, top and bottom, but when the cabinet is pushed over there are no signs of any bolts in the cabinet.
