Hallmark actor John Reardon revealed on Christmas Eve that he’s recovering from tonsil cancer. The actor shared the news by posting two photos on Instagram: one shows him on a night out, while the other is him in a hospital.

“Last night was my first night out after my recovery from tonsil cancer. Has been a long road between these two pictures and the difference is from the love and support I received from my people in my life,” Reardon wrote in the caption.

He continued to thank his wife, Meghan Ory as well as his mom, dad and siblings for their support.

Of his “amazing partner” Ory, Reardon said she took “on our whole world to help me get better.”
