Devastatingly real. No one deserves to lose their life like these woman did. No matter their lifestyle choice and their vices. Prayers to those who were left behind and the survivors. Heartbreaking and disturbing.

I've not waste my time reading anything about this.

All the women (and the pastor) who spoke touched me deeply.

I'm not going to get into anything about this documentary other than to say all the people who spoke - I actually teared up. These people - the women who suffered the horrors, and those who were in this neighbourhood - I can't put it into simplistic words other than I've now compassion, understanding for them than many people I know.

I just wanted to hug each one of them.

This is a unique documentary able the killings which took place in a drug-riddled area of Ohio.

The best documentaries often go sideways:because the documentarian(s) follow the underlying story instead of blindly trying to make the film that he or she perhaps initially envisioned. This documentary is a prime example of following the truth of the story. When I added this to my watchlist, I expected something other than I experienced. Instead of the "serial killer expose" that I was expecting, a moving and mind-altering story unfolded. I did not read any reviews prior to viewing, so I hesitate to go into detail for those who prefer a more generalized explanation. Suffice to say, I was shaken, and cannot recommend this documentary highly enough.

The filmmaker amazes with a point of view from the survivor and painting a bone chilling clear portrait of how these victims were seen through the public eye. It offers the victims a chance to tell their side and to engulf the viewer in the understanding that they are people too fighting their own demons along with defending against a neighborhood monster. Excellent documentary, a must see for all crime series fans!

Warning: this is the only true crime documentary which I have watched for 5 times, and it's strange that it is a kind of hidden gem, it's a frightening story of a monster who took advantage of the most vulnerable women, and it is the story of a heroic brave woman who confronted her trauma and fear and was the star witness, the details of her abduction and the place where this monster live is terrifying.
