फ़ीचर्ड समीक्षाएं
The third installment of Indra Kumar's sex comedy franchise is nowhere near the zenith that it should have reached by now, considering the perverted times we live in. It has only degraded with time.
Amar (Deshmukh), Meet (Oberoi), and Prem (Shivdasani) are three sex- craving husbands of equally sex-craving and seductive "housewives". However, the couples are apparently unable to get on with it due to some ridiculous reasons. So, the male trio go out of their way to Amar's ancestral mansion in the countryside to have some adult fun. To their surprise, they bump into Ragini (Rautela), a bombshell of a ghost who, for their luck and goodness, wants to have sex with them for some more ridiculous reasons. In between this narrative is where one will find deadpan jokes and slapstick about sex, vulgarity, sex, women, sex, male reproductive organs, sex, and other similar topics.
Masti (2004) was an honestly funny yet average movie, but more than a decade later, Great Grand Masti does not appeal, let only amuse. The characters look like they were written by naughty fourty-four-year olds. The humor, which is supposed to be an important aspect of a film like this, does not even scramble. Lots of cleavages, redundant one-liners, and sexist jokes are all that you'll find in this cacophony of idiotic elements.
BOTTOM LINE: Great Grand Masti offers neither of the adjectives that it has appended in its title. It's just a very bad adult film made by a film student who himself is obsessed with sex. Not even worth watching the TV premiere (if at all that happens).
Can be watched with a typical Indian family? NO

During movie we laughed a lot just because of the editing, mixing and i don't know what to say now.
I was watching this movie with a few of friends of mine, we all loved it because it was like a 'can not be explained in words' movie.
Great Grand Masti is an effort to degrade us. Wake up because director Indra Kumar is insulting the audience. What he has dished out in the name of a sex-comedy is puerile, utter nonsense and disgusting.
Don't you dare smile! Even if you do, do it with a sorry face as we did throughout the whole movie. Who knows, a smile might turn out to be the inspiration for an even greater 'masti'.

This marks the end of sex comedies era completely. Makers of such movies really need a good break from this topic and so the audience.

The third installment in the Masti film series after Masti (2004) and Grand Masti (2013, 'Great Grand Masti' too turns out to be a funny, although very crass sex-comedy, that brings an interesting horror element in the haywire narrative. Its vulgar, loud & even ridiculous at times, but I was enjoying myself almost throughout.
'Great Grand Masti' Synopsis: Amar, Meet and Prem go into a small town where they encounter a 'femme fatale' in the form of Ragini. Ragini is everything they had dreamed of, but she slowly turns into their worst nightmare!
'Great Grand Masti' is fun, because its very sure of itself. This 3rd installment is comfortably vulgar, suggestive & loud. It doesn't aim to be anything else, but to remain simply crazy. While the first-hour is about the 3 protagonist's again struggling to get some "Masti" form their wives, but fail flat on their faces. Its the second-hour more-so, where the film scores. The horror element of the " vengeful bhootni" so to say, is finely set-up & the series of events that follow, are at times hilarious & at times ridiculous. However, 'Great Grand Masti' made laugh more, than bored.
Tushar Hiranandani's Story crosses all boundaries of vulgarity & even crassness, but it aptly captures the zany feel of the film. The Writing is funny, although there are some dull moments in the second-hour. The "vengeful bhootni" harassing its protagonist's, gets repetitive after a point. Nonetheless, there are several hilarious sequences, that do the trick. The Dialouge, however, range from funny to ridiculous. Inder Kumar's Direction is decent. Cinematography & Editing are alright. Art & Costume Design are fair. Make-Up is finely done, but the CG Effects are tacky. Music by Various Artists, is foot-tapping.
Performance-Wise: Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh & Aftab Shivdasani are back as the horny men, who end up in deep trouble here. They all deliver well & carry a very likable on-screen chemistry throughout. Urvashi Rautela springs a pleasant surprise. As the "vengeful bhootni", she delivers confidently & also looks seductive. Of the rest of the cast, Pooja Bose is decent, while Usha Nadkarni & Sanjay Mishra are terrific, as always. Shreyas Talpade & Sudesh Lehri are good in cameos.
On the whole, 'Great Grand Masti' is fun, but only if you have the knack for sex-comedies, with a twist!

Great Grand Masti is the third movie in the Masti series and I must say it is the best so far. However I am certainly not suggesting that the first two movies were not as good; they were well portrayed in their own ways.
Throughout the movie there are sex related jokes and they are not vulgar or offensive in any way, in fact, they were rather funny and you can relate to them in some ways. In some parts of the movie as an audience you question "why is this happening?" or "was this necessary?" but then you're like, "oh...i get it now!". Therefore the audience is intrigued and hooked to the jokes.
I split the movie in three parts; the introduction to their personal life, their journey to the haunted mansion and the battle between the families and the ghost. the introduction was exceptionally funny and all three of the actors -Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani, Riteish Deshmukh- did an amazing job in portraying the characters and the comic timing was fabulous.
The introduction to the ghost was pretty funny too as well as the guest appearance of Shreyas Talpade. The wives were okay as well, however they did not play a massive part in the movie in addition to the mother in law and the Baba.
The ending was quite unexpected, though very eventful.
Personally I would highly recommend for you to watch the movie in the cinemas with your friends as you can have a laugh and a great time.
