I absoultly love this show. Really personal and creative humor. Offensive and brilliant like Peep Show, Veep, or Curb Your Enthusiasm.

The fact that it is not way more popular is tragic, because there should be more shows like this, and more than 12 episodes.

The writing on this show is very good indeed. Nice to view a funny show which does not rely on laugh tracks. The action may be minimal, but the interaction and dialogue between the characters is very enjoyable.

Alas, the US seems to see the need to make their own version. Why not just enjoy the original?

I ran, after watching the first 2 episodes.

With the exception of April (played by Harriet Dyer), I found the characters irritating rather than amusing. Rather than take the Brooklyn Nine-Nine route (incompetence within a relatively realistic milieu), they've chosen the route of supremely farcical incompetence and have failed to make this funny.

Look at what happened at the end of episode 1 (no spoilers here) and how this is effectively forgotten by the beginning of episode 2. How does that make any sort of sense, unless this is a farce? In which case, it needs to be a good farce. This is just a bad farce about a bad force. Watch Brooklyn Nine-Nine instead.

Stumbled across this on bbc iPlayer......Has to be one of the funniest tv shows I've seen in a long time. Script is great, characters are superb and humoursly acted. Stokes mannerisms are genius. Why it hasn't had any publicity I have no idea, it is up there, just wish there was more. At times I was in stitches!
