Filinta

Unfortunately I don't speak or understand a word of the Turkish language so I am at a disadvantage waiting for the series to be interpreted. So many Turkish films I have left Netflix a message to get the next series.

The writers and producers and the actors are superb in Filinta. I smiled, laughed, cried during the entire 2 seasons.

I'm waiting for season 3. Looking so forward to it.

Enjoyed so much, waiting for season 3... but why they kill most of all the characters to start season 2 especially when they killed the father of 2 brothers. how sad it made me. it doesn't look like a filinta show except 2 main characters.. they are so good acting, just to see Onur's eye make you chill but wonderful acting .

SAD love story when they killed of all of their loved one,, very strange drama but wonderful show to watch !

I watched the entire series Filanta which up to the last few episodes was a very good historical drama, until it made serious antisemitic references to the Elders of Zion who supposed to be Jews ( a Star of David was clearly seen) trying to run the world. The last episode had the founder of the state of Israel Theodore Herzl as the main evil leader. Sadly perpetuating to Turkish audiences the spread of this ancient libel against the Jewish people.

For many years we - as Turkish television viewers - have been suffering from TV series full of drama, endless love scenes, fake acting and bad scenarios that repeat themselves.

Filinta, on the contrary, is like a fresh breath on Turkish television. The action scenes are very professional that I've never seen such on another series. Normally if a Turkish TV series becomes popular, the scenario gets extended by the same incidents until the viewers get bored. But in each episode of Filinta there is always a different case that the characters should solve. I don't think that I will ever get bored of this TV series.

In my opinion, Filinta has done what is not done before and this makes it special. The leading actor, Onur Tuna, is beyond my expectations. Maybe he wasn't well known before Filinta but I am sure that he will be now. Other actors are also very successful. I thank all of them for giving us this TV series of good quality.

Basically, Murdoch goes to Istanbul but with fewer forensics and a LOT more "acupuncture." The first season is an entertaining romp, but season 2 is starting to "lose it." Reminds me of how much fun the first Pirates of the Caribbean was, but then the franchise started to get mired down in cliches and poor plot development. This group of assassins they created, training with Greco-Roman weapons and funky haircuts, looks too much like Conan the Barbarian or a B-grade video game. We are fast-forwarding episodes now in Netflix, something we never did in Season 1. Not sure if season 2 can keep my interest through another 70 episodes. My rating is for Season 1 only.
