Highway to Havasu

Maannn!! Such a crazy good movie!! Beyond hilarious! Loved it!! Sat down with my roommate after he told me about the movie. Said he had the chance to meet the director and all!! But long review short, I made up my decision for where I want to take my trip next year! Definitely going to Havasu! Especially with the kove of outdoors and being around people and a huge lake to party on!! If the director gets another opportunity to make another movie like this, I would love to be part of the cast!

A high school boy's wet dream, full of t and a and swearing but extremely short on comedy ... if you are looking for something funny you won't find it here....get any lampoon and it will be funnier

Love those raunchy comedies, if you look at my profile you will see i reviewed a lot of them. This one definately fit the bills and has an overall interesting story, but i feel its being dragged down by VERY STUPID over the top side characters that didn't had to be there. If you take a look at movies like American Pie, sure Stifler is over the top a bit but never to a point of being unbeliable. The main characters here are all fine, but for some reasons they threw in weird characters like Captain Jack or that dude with the eye patch that they rent the boat from.

I watched this movie while being quite advanced into my drunk state (it was my second movie of the day after a gaming pause in the middle) so i managed to have a decent time and roll with it, but i can see how some peoples will not find it funny or just too dumb.

You really have to dig the raunchy comedies in the first place to apreciate it, then get drunk to have a better time ;)

WARNING: I thought I'd watch HIGHWAY TO HAVASU to at least see some shots of a beautiful area where I used to live. I couldn't finish watching the film. WHY? Improbable plot. stupid dialogue. verbal and visual jokes that fall flat and are unfunny. Characters created by terrible actors trying anything to be funny and failing miserably. And most of all: horrific overacting by the leads and most of the supporting cast. LOUSY MOVIE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

It takes the right kind of person to appreciate this film, I sure did. I unfortunately had to move away from havasu but this film is a great way to get away from boring Omaha, NE.

Anyway being a havasu native, I appreciate the humor take on what the spring breakers are expecting coming to havasu. Now for the most part havasu natives are not as crazy as the ones in the film but that stupid humor is what makes this film. Like I said before you have to be open minded and if you are then this is definitely worth the watch!
