Love

It feels like a very realistic romcom at first.. A huge nerd meets a borderline kind of girl with a lot of personal issues.. Then for some completely unrealistic reason the women in the series see him as a very attractive God. He almost stumbles from one girl to the other without doing anything for it at all.. It takes away the whole realistic feel of the series.. but then I saw that Paul Rust (starring role as Gus) is one of the creators and writers of the series.. Not saying anything anymore..

I seriously believe the character of Mickey Dobbs has borderline personality disorder. She shows all the symptoms perfectly. And i can tell this how? Because I've got the same illness. Her addiction to love and sex, her habit of smoking, her narcissism, her wanting to start a fight, blaming others, her careless nature, and the most significant symptom - unstable relationships, all point to borderline personality disorder. I applaud the writers who have really showed what its like to be a borderline and what its like to date one. If anybody have any views or opinions on this?

I don't write reviews but I had to on this one. I love this show, but I can not pinpoint what it is about it that I love so much. Maybe because it's real? Or because you genuinely feel for the characters. You watch this show and you will think to yourself "oh, I remember when that was me" or "I've been through that before". It literally has made me think about so many past relationships and all the stages in my life. If someone were to try to explain to me what this show was about before I watched it, I don't think I would have been interested in it. I'm so happy I went in with no expectations because it seriously is a great show.

For those who are leaving bad reviews, maybe they've never been in situations like these? I don't know but I can definitely see it being a show that is a hit or miss. Fortunately it was a hit for me! Can't wait for next season.

I have watched this show from start to finish at least 3 different times. I wish this Judd Apatow series had more seasons!!

A story about loves up and downs. How life doesn't just go from point A to point B. The dialog can be awkward and situations can be cringy, but that's what makes this show so great! It's raw and real relatable. While also being so funny and witty.

Ps why are there so many reviews on here about appearance?? If you are watching things based on how people look, maybe you should take your upturned nose and glass of Rosé and switch your tv to something more your speed such as Keeping Up with the Kardashians or The Bachelor.

I can't believe how many reviews here try to sum up this show with comments like "awful people", "awful characters", "he or she is this or that". How so many people can just miss the point of this show is unbelievable to me.

The beauty of the show and characters is the fact that no-one is perfect and that we are all flawed. How many people do you know in real life where their lives are flawless? How many of our lives have a resolution to every mistake or situation we have ever found ourselves in?

This show is excellent. It's funny. It's moving. It has pain, and regret, and love, and frustration, and stress, and annoyance, and respect, and regret and passion. As fictional as it appears, it does an amazing job in resembling all of our day to day relationships, while providing the viewer with the escapism and fun we need from just sitting back and watching TV.

I'm writing this review after a few beers, but a man is at his most honest when he's less than sober (ironically), but this this show has been my favourite show for a long time and people need to look past some idiotic reviews in here. This show works. The script works. The cast works. The director works. The soundtrack works. This shows is flawless. Just sit down, and watch it.
