I wasn't expecting this movie to be as good as it was! Don't get me wrong, it's nothing to seriously write home about, but the animation was fluid and the characters were funny. The only thing I wasn't necessarily a fan of was the one (1) fart joke as well as that little vegetable guy with the shrill voice. The story has quite a few interpretations to its meaning, but I like to imagine that it means "Kindness is the Best Medicine". No, really, as cheesy as it sounds! The care that Bai Ze learns to adopt for his patients is admirable, and his relationship with Yi is the cutest thing ever! Huo Zhu needs to take a chill pill though, yeesh. Overall, watch this movie if you're alright with accepting and enjoying it for what it is.
