When she came to Mumbai, she auditioned for a show called Anamika. Later, she was made to give a screen test for Junior Shaktimaan at Mukesh Khanna's office. Once she had returned to her hometown, the makers informed her about her selection. However, the show was shelved.

[Describing her career choices before acting] I always wanted to be a choreographer and if not a choreographer then the other alternative career that I had in mind was to be a doctor because I was good at studies. I have always been very focused in life and I knew what I wanted to do.
