After failing her first attempt to attend RADA, she joined a one-year programme at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. She was accepted at RADA the next year, where she graduated in 2015 with a BA Hons in Acting.
She was raised in North Somerset, where she completed her secondary education at Churchill Academy and Sixth form (prev Churchill Community School).
Her real name is often incorrectly stated to be "Lorna Michelle Stefanie Martini". She once explained that she had found the name on some websites, and she had no idea where it came from.
