The filming of the next installment in the Star Trek franchise, Star Trek: Section 31, has officially concluded.
Actor Robert Kazinsky took to social media to express his gratitude towards the entire team behind Star Trek: Section 31. The movie will be the first original Star Trek film to be released on Paramount+ as Star Trek: Section 31 was originally developed as a series. Kazinsky's post specifically acknowledged the director, Olatunde Osunsanmi and the lead actress, Academy Award winner, Michelle Yeoh. The production of Section 31 commenced in January 2024 and now the focus shifts to the post-production phase.

Star Trek: Section 31, Paramount+'s first-ever original Star Trek movie, has wrapped filming. Actor Robert Kazinsky revealed the news on his Instagram, calling the shoot one of the greatest experiences of his life. He goes on to thank director Olatunde Osunsanmi, star Michelle Yeoh, and the rest of the cast, including three actors whose presence in the film had not yet been revealed: Joe Pingue (The Expanse), Miku Martineau (Kate), and Augusto Bitter (Ezra).
