Her interest in acting started after her great-grandparents gave her a DVD collection of Shirley Temple films for her fifth birthday.
She had no ice skating experience prior to filming I, Tonya (2017), where she played the young Tonya Harding. Once she learned it, she started to enjoy it.
Good friends with Raegan Revord.
She has Mexican ancestry through a great grandmother.
