The search for Sasquatch continues this September as the latest instalment of the On the Trail documentary series, On the Trail of Bigfoot: The Ancients, launches exclusively on Prime Video on September 10th. Directed by Seth Breedlove, the founder of Small Town Monsters, this film embarks on a deeply personal journey through the rich history and folklore of the Smoky Mountains, diving into both local legends and Breedlove’s own family heritage.

Small Town Monsters, known for its unique and investigative approach to folklore and cryptozoology, continues its exploration of the Bigfoot phenomenon. In The Ancients, Breedlove is joined by his father Ronnie, adding an emotional layer to the quest as the pair retrace their family roots. As descendants of early settlers in the Smoky Mountains, the Breedloves offer a fresh perspective on an enduring mystery, blending personal history with the region’s deep-seated Bigfoot lore.
