Ernie Hudson has played many roles, but one stands out the most: the one of Winston Zeddemore in the Ghostbusters franchise. The actor played the character in all the films but didn't voice him in any of the two animated series.

Speaking to Brittany Frederick of Cbr to promote his new project, Angry Birds: Mystery Island, Hudson also addressed one of his most recognizable roles: Winston. The actor, who voices Marlon in the new animated series' Episode 4, "A-squawk-alypse Now," noted he would love to do more voice work in the future. That also applies to his Ghostbusters character, whom he played in all four films, but not the animated series, and he would like the chance in the future.

Toonami is going through another schedule change, and it includes both the return of the Blue Exorcist anime and the premiere of Mashle: Magic and Muscles. Even with the advent of streaming, Toonami has remained an iconic part of anime culture in the West, with many anime premiering there before anywhere else, such as the recent Uzumaki adaptation and the upcoming Lazarus anime from Shinichiro Watanabe.

While not as big as it once was, Toonami remains a big part of anime culture, and its about to get even bigger. At the Adult Swim panel at New York Comic Con 2024, it was announced that with Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba season 4 and Rick and Morty: The Anime ending, Toonami will be adding both Blue Exorcist and Mashle: Magic and Muscles to their lineup from November 2024, onward.

Crunchyroll has officially revealed that the English dub of the show's third season will be released on May 28, 2023. It is set to come out at 9:30 p.m. BST -- which is 1:30 p.m. Pst and 3:30 p.m. Est. Each subsequent English dubbed chapter will be unveiled weekly on Sundays after the premiere of the hour-long first episode. The original Japanese series will continue toward its finale as it has been in the previous month.

In the upcoming weeks a large convention known as Animazement is coming to Raleigh, North Carolina. From Thursday May 26 at 6 p.m. to Sunday May 28 at 5 p.m. Animazement will be at the Raleigh Convention Center. This particular convention has been around since 1997, when they originated by hosting a 36-hour anime marathon. Since then, the convention has grown and developed into a large event which celebrates Japanese visual culture. The convention tends to attract an array of cosplayers from numerous genres and fandoms such as Kill la Kill, Bleach, Rwby, and Attack on Titan amongst countless others.

As the name suggests, Animazement has a strong focus on anime. Anime is a style of Japanese film and television animation which can be intended for children, adults, or both. The convention is run by a collection of fans, and volunteers as well as there being organized events, and panels throughout all four days.
