Since his early childhood, David J. Green has been fascinated by the art of movie-making, creating tons of short films with his mother, father, sister, cousins, and friends from school.

In his four years studying at The School of Visual Arts, Green took courses by experienced industry professionals such as George LaVoo, Charles Kipps, and Todd Stephens, who was Green's advisor on his thesis film, Gen. Sex (2024).

One of Green's favorite films is Robert Zemeckis's रोजर रैबिट को किसने फंसाया (1988). Growing up, the bonus features on its DVD release were a major source of inspiration for him.
