In 1997, won "Best Actor" Award Junior Year in High School for his portrayal of John Adams in the musical "1776." A role originated by actor William Daniels of TV's "Boy Meets World" and "Knight Rider."

In 2001, Was nominated an "Inland Valley Theatre League" award for his role of Tony in a local production of "West Side Story." Christopher was cast in the role late into rehearsals replacing someone, and had to learn the entire role in 2 1/2 weeks.

In 2003, fan-made film "Halloween: Evil's Reign" was one of many "Halloween" fan-films to be screened at the "Halloween Returns to Haddonfield" 25th Anniversary Convention held in Pasadena. A shorter version of the film had a 2nd public screening on October 20th, 2006 at the Maverick Theatre in Fullerton.

In 2005, mounted a one-man show, for one night only, re-enacting the entire film "Superman II: The Adventure Continues," at a local theatre in his hometown of Chino. The event was to raise money to donate to the American Red Cross to help victims of Hurricane Katrina. The price for tickets was only $2 for a 91 seat theatre. The show was expected to make $182 but surprisingly made made $360. Gomez personally donated the money to the Red Cross the next day and was interviewed in an article on E! Online.

In 2007, won a Los Angeles Area Emmy Award, alongside director Richard Gale, for "Do You know CPR?" A Public Service Announcement produced through the City of Beverly Hills to encourage citizens to participate in CPR training courses.
