Father Sujit Kumar worked as an actor in the Hindi-language film industry for more than four decades and is particularly well-known for his roles in आराधना (1969), Ittefaq (1969) and Dharam Veer (1977). Father is also regarded as the first superstar of Bhojpuri films.
