A full remake of the D.C. ~Da Capo~ visual novel is on the way, and Bushiroad Games officially has a release date in place. The original launched back in 2002, and now fans can look forward to D.C. ~Da Capo~ Re:tune dropping on Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam) on October 30. Japan also has physical editions on the way with pre-orders kicking off on May 28. The remake includes support for English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese languages. The official YouTube channel for Himitsu no AiPri , the ongoing latest installment in the idol-themed Pretty Series, started streaming a main trailer for its second TV anime season, subtitled "Ring Arc." The clip confirms the second season is set to premiere in Japan on April 6, 2025. Ahead of a March 28 theatrical release in Japan, a brand-new video released for the live-action My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999 film revealed that the in-game voices of Akane and Akito's "Forest of Saver" characters, "Akane" and "Yamada", will be played by Inori Minase and Koki Uchiyama, the rom-com pair's cast from the 2023 anime adaptation . Kadokawa anime official YouTube channel is now streaming a special trailer for Shoji Gatoh's Full Metal Panic! Family light novel series to promote the release of its upcoming second volume. To commemorate the 25th anniversary of Gatoh's original Full Metal Panic! series, the first volume of Full Metal Panic! Family was published in Japan in January 2024. The creators of the popular manga series My Deer Friend Nokotan break down the series' absurdist comedy in a new interview following the anime's debut -- one of the most highly anticipated series of the Summer 2024 season.

My Deer Friend Nokotan manga creator Oshioshio and editor Igarashi broke down the series' wackiness, aspirations and more in an interview with Comic Natalie. Igarashi said the decision to make the now-viral anime adaptation came soon after the first volume was released, with Oshioshio finding out after the second volume. The pair frequently joked throughout the interview; Oshioshio had told Wit Studio, which animates the series, "I don't want it to be mild. If you're going to do that anyway, make it terrible." Furthermore, the idea for the popular anime opening, "Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan," was apparently conceived in "about three seconds" by the PR team. Readers can check out the full opening below.
