He directed George Bernard Shaw's play, "The Devil's Disciple", in a Royal Shakespeare Company production at the Aldwych Theatre in London, England with Tom Conti, Zoë Wanamaker and John Wood in the cast.
When you go to the cinema, you always hope the picture's going to be a great one, but when you pick up a book of short stories or a paperback, you don't necessarily expect it to be a great one. I always hope for more out of the cinema, maybe because there's so much time and money and effort that's gone into it.
