She acted in Thomas Hardy's play, "The Dynasts," at the Kingsway Theatre in London, England with Henry Ainley, Carrie Haase, Nicholas Hannen, Rutland Barrington, Sydney Valentine, Murray Carrington, and Allan Jeayes in the cast. Harley Granville Barker was producer and editor. Norman Wilkinson was art director. Cecil Sharp was musical director.
Sister of the popular child actress Vera Beringer (1879-1964), star of
such stage productions as 1888's Little Lord Fauntleroy. Vera was an
idol of Lewis Carroll and when she grew up also became a Professor (of Voice
Production and Speech), as well as an acting coach.
