Is a huge fan of Star Trek (1966). She made a cameo as an alien communications officer in the sequel स्टार ट्रेक IV: वॉयज होम (1986).

After she left The Go-Go's, Jane scored a solo hit with the song "Blue Kiss" (1985) and had a Top 10 hit with the song "Rush Hour" (1988).

She is a member of the fetish community. When she was on a celebrity version of "Jeopardy" (which she won), she wore leather bondage pants. One of the first songs she wrote as a Go-Go was called "Fun with Ropes".

Scored her first No. 1 song hit on Billboard magazine's Country Singles and Tracks chart with "But for the Grace of God" in February 2001. Recorded by Keith Urban and co-written by Jane, Charlotte Caffey (also in The Go-Go's), and Urban.

Currently resides in Madison, Wisconsin.

A major proponent of animal rights, Jane was arrested while protesting the wearing of fur and spent five days in prison for her actions (1987).

Her father was of German and Swiss-German descent. Her mother was of Lebanese ancestry.

During and after her time with The Go-Go's, her pet dog Kitty Igloo took on a cult status of its own becoming an "unofficial" member of the band and actually had his own fans.

She and The Go-Go's were awarded a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Recording at 6552 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California.

Took part in reunions with the other four members of The Go-Go's in 1989, 1990, 1994 and 1999. The group released their first studio album since in 17 years, titled "God Bless the Go-Gos" (2001).

Has occasional panic attacks

Before becoming a member of The Go-Go's, Jane went by the name Jane Drano in a punk band in California. Later, while still a member of The Go-Go's, she also was featured with the cult band Sparks. Studied fashion at the Los Angeles Trade-Technical College.

Attended William Howard Taft Charter High School in Los Angeles, California from 1972 until 1976.
