He played Smike in the stage adaptation of Charles Dickens' "Nicholas Nickelby" in a Royal Shakespeare Company production at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-Upon-Avon, England with Michael Siberry, DeNica Fairman, Frances Cuka, John Carlisle, David Collings, Rebecca Saire, Alan David, David Delve, Jane Carr, Clive Wood, Pat Keen, and Simon Templeman in the cast. Trevor Nunn and John Caird were directors.
