Published author in November 2004 issue of Audrey magazine. Wrote an article called "Much Ado About Something" about her experience volunteering for Habitat for Humanity.
In 2006, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. The disease reached its stage IV in 2011 and she was given 6 months to live. She miraculously reversed the disease, reclaimed her health, and went into complete remission. The disease later returned and she died on September 17, 2019 in her Los Angeles home after a 13-year battle with cancer, just 11 days before her 57th birthday.
