The release date for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle Arc will be officially announced on March 1, 2025, at 7 p.m. Jst during a special event titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle Arc: Corps Assembly.

The event will be streamed for free on Aniplex’s official YouTube channel and will feature anime’s cast members, and fan-focused activities.

Event Overview:

The program will kick off with an opening ceremony featuring key voice actors Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro Kamado), Akari Kito (Nezuko Kamado), Hiro Shimono (Zenitsu Agatsuma), and Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Inosuke Hashibira).

The agency was co-established by Suzumura himself in 2012. Back on May 16 , the agency reported that Suzumura had been feeling ill and after a doctor's diagnosis, it was determined that he needed to take a break from work. His recovery was considered the top priority, and the specific name of his illness has not been disclosed. The statement reads: "Kenichi Suzumura, who has been taking a break from work due to health issues, will resume work gradually, taking into consideration his health condition. Once again, we would like to express our sincere apologies to all of you who have always supported him, as well as to all parties involved, for any inconvenience and worry this may have caused.

Crunchyroll announced that they have acquired the rights of the upcoming Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc movie trilogy in conjunction with Sony Pictures Entertainment.

The announcement coincided with the broadcast of the final episode of the Hashira Training arc on June 30, 2024.

The trilogy marks the final arc of the series, and will be distributed globally by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment, with the exception of select Asian territories, including Japan.

“Demon Slayer has been a phenomenal franchise, and we at Crunchyroll are delighted to have been a part of it from the beginning. Crunchyroll is thrilled to be able to bring this trilogy of films to fans, on the big screen, and it promises to be one of the truly epic and consequential pop cultural events of our time when it hits theaters,” stated Rahul Purini, President of Crunchyroll.

The release date of the films are yet to be revealed.

The previous episode of Hashira training arc marked the beginning of the final showdown that is about to take place between Muzan and the Demon Slayers. While his bold entry into the Ubuyashiki mansion might have stolen the headlines, the previous episode also delved into the past of the stronges Hashira – Gyomei Himejima.

With Tanjiro’s training being completed at the right time, he and the others will come together to face the biggest threat and also the final boss who is standing in front of them – Muzan Kibutsuji.

This is especially seen in Cagalli Yula Atha seemingly romancing Lacus Clyne, much to the chagrin of main character Kira Yamato. Other characters are likewise shown from this more down-to-Earth perspective, with Yzak Joule engaging in the iconic Gundam series tradition of fencing. Amid these more dramatic focuses are numerous explosions and Gundam dogfights, with accompanying music that's both haunting and pulse-pounding.

The official Twitter account of Demon Slayer unveiled a promotional reel for its upcoming Hashira Training Arc on Dec 10, 2023. The promo reel revealed that Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc will release in Spring 2024, with a one-hour special episode.

Moreover, it was also revealed that prior to the broadcast of the new season, a world tour will be held in 140 countries and territories across the world starting in February 2024. A new visual was revealed to commemorate the announcement.

Bandai Namco Filmworks released the first official promo for Mobile Suit Gundam: Seed Freedom, the long-awaited sequel to Msg: Seed Destiny.

As detailed on Anime News Network, the studio unveiled the promo on July 2, along with new staff details and the film's release date. On Twitter, Anime Trending (or @Anitrendz) shared the teaser, which spotlights returning protagonist Kira Yamato from the 2004 Msg: Seed Destiny TV series. Bandai also unveiled a new piece of promotional art for the film, which is scheduled to debut in Japanese theaters on January 26.

Viz Media has picked up a wide collection of rights in North America and Latin America to animated Japanese sports series “Captain Tsubasa: Junior Youth Arc.”

The series is adapted from a popular manga by Yoichi Takahashi and is licensed by Shueisha Inc. The deal includes digital streaming, TV, electronic sell-thru, home video and merchandise rights for North and Latin American territories.

The new series is currently being produced by Studio Kai, with the official main staff including: director Ono Katsumi; character design and executive animation director, Watanabe Hajime; and series composition, Tomioka Atsuhiro. The voice cast includes Sanpei Yuko as Tsubasa Ozora, Gukuyama Jun as Karl Heinz Schneider and Suzumura Kenichi as Wakabayashi Genzo and Hyuga Kojiro as Sato Takuya. It is set to launch October 2023.

The “Captain Tsubasa” manga is the creation of Takahashi Yoichi and was first serialized in 1981 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. To date,...
