Died November 22, 1981 as the result of a gunshot wound to the head during a robbery of the Pup "N" Taco Driveup (formerly located at 990 North Western Ave. in Hollwood, CA) where he was employed. His mother, Jean, filed a complaint for damages for wrongful death on November 19, 1982. The complaint alleged that an employee, working with Vincent the night he died, failed to summon emergency medical assistance or police immediately because she feared possible deportation because she was in the country illegally.
