Best known by the public for his very first role, as Christian Markelli in Latter Days (2003), and his recurring role as Wyatt Halliwell on the fantasy series Charmed (1998).

In 2000, he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from the prestigious Juilliard School in Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA.

His love for acting began when he turned 12 years old.

Spent seven years at the Walden Theatre in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, USA, training and mastering his abilities in the theatrical arts.

Has acted opposite Finola Hughes, in both Charmed (1998) and General Hospital (1963). In "Charmed" he played Wyatt, and Finola played Patty, they were grandmother and grandson. In "General Hospital" he plays Heinrich Faison/Peter August, son of Finola's Alex Merrick and nephew of Finola's Anna Devane.

Has been in a relationship with General Hospital (1963) costar Laura Wright since 2017.

Parents are William and Linda Ramsey; has two brothers: William and Warren Ramsey.

Has had series regular or recurring roles in three network daytime soaps, on all three of the major broadcast television networks (Fox does not contribute broadcasts during daytime to its TV network affiliates) The Guiding Light (1952) (CBS), Days of Our Lives (1965) (NBC), and General Hospital (1963) (ABC).
