Grew up in Pasadena, CA and still lives there.

Worked with Danny DeVito four times: Marilyn Hotchkiss Ballroom Dancing and Charm School, Nobel Son and as an actor in Throw Momma From the Train and The Ratings Game.

Worked with Alan Rickman three times: Nobel Son, Bottle Shock and CBGB. He misses Alan dearly and considered him a dear friend and colleague.

Graduated from University of Southern California, Film School (BA) Graduated from American Film Institute, Director's Program (MBA). Was awarded the Sir Run Run Shaw Scholarship for Directing.

Worked with Bill Pullman twice: Nobel Son and Bottle Shock.
