Cousin of actress Shar Jackson, best known for her role as Niecy Jackson in Moesha.

Was never added as one of the main cast members on Family Matters (1989), even though she was on the show since the second season.

Has two daughters, but refuses to release names or pictures of them, in an effort to keep them out of the spotlight.

She's kept busy over the years writing books, though it's unknown if any of them have even been published. (January 2004) Co-wrote a book called "Two Walks of Life" about being a celebrity and an average housewife. (February 2004) Worked on a series of children's books. (August 2010) Signed book deals with J. M. Benjamin and BettenCourt Books, and supposedly, a seven book deal with A New Quality Publishing. (August 2011) Dissolved her book deal with her old publisher; started her own publishing company, Cherrific Publishing; released the novel "Peaches & Cream" under her own brand.
