She debuted as an actress in 1955, at the age of 19, at the State Theater in Resita, with the role of Agnes in Molière's "School for Women".

After graduating from theoretical high school, she went to work in Resita, where a brother of her father lived. There she attended the performances of the theater troupe.

From 1965 she worked at the National Theater in Bucharest , as well as on television.
