Set in Brazil's southern city of Porto Alegre, the film focuses on a socially repressed young man who only comes out of his shell during chatroom performances, when he strips and smears neon paints on his lithe body.

Bruno, a young deserter, searches for his estranged brother Leo in Porto Alegre. Unable to find Leo, he befriends Leo's circle, discovering a new world to explore his identity and sexuality, forming an unconventional family.

Tati is 14 years old and lives in a humble house by the river, with her father, who barely takes care of her. She is an emotionally unstable and rather manly child, who doesn't fit in her environment. Obsessed with being Boat rower, every day she unsuccessfully tries to ride the boat.
