A year has passed since Guts parted ways with Griffith. The Band of the Hawk is plotting a rescue mission to save Griffith who is confined to prison.

The students think of it as a silly joke when the mobile telephones ring with instructions for the classmates. The texts keep coming and the demands escalate under punishment of erasure however. The class is alone in having to obey or fend off the increasingly demanding texts and, in the meantime, the rank of the class-mates is dwindling one by one.

When a pastry chef is undergoing a slump and cannot consistently make the store's trademark cherry pie anymore, she begins practicing after hours. Nothing works however. One night she receives a call at the store from a cherry orchard owner who used to be the shop's supplier. The supplier has something he wants to return.

Mei, Kai and Yui are high school students who also act as undercover agents and detectives dispatched to missions. The Tokyo police requests their assistance when a threat against the popular idol band Morning Musume has been received. They are dispatched to be with the band and guard them at their concert. All is well until one of the school girls disappears.

A college student in Hakodate, Japan lost her best friend 10 years ago. Since the tragic loss the girl hasn't talked. One day, the girl is asked to write a comment about "forget-me-not" on a website. She writes about letting go of the past and to focus on the present day, but at that moment a man appears in front of her resembling her childhood friend.

37-year-old sales manager Iwatsu is so caught up in work, he's unable to truly live his life. One night while looking at his graduation album on his phone, he receives a sudden call from a girl named Kana. He's taken to his hometown Kobe, where he lived as a teenager. Slowly, by way of Kana, Iwatsu's past is resuscitated.

Night after night, eccentric regulars gather at a quaint eating house located in the corner of a crossing in Tsukifune-cho. They include an old bookstore owner called "Master De Niro", a young fruit seller who wishes to go to Irkutsk, a talkative hatter, and a struggling stage actress. "I", an unspectacular man, is forced to buy a "double spatial migration device" and a book titled "The Strange tale of Thousand and One Red Pepper Night", talks about the outskirts of the universe, reminisces about the "espresso machine", and is asked to write a play. Gradually, these little events make "I" face his past and future.

Shima (Kiritani Mirei) is a second year high school student. She has already become the youngest ever winner of a "new writer award" for poetry. Yet, she keeps it a secret that she is a writer at school. Shima has developed feelings for fellow second year high school student Kento (Miura Takahiro). One day, Kento confesses his feelings for her and they begin to have a relationship. Shima has difficulties understanding other's emotions and can't understand Kento's feelings. Soon afterwards, Kento decides to break up with Shima.

A Japanese princess from the Edo period journeys to the old Tokyo, but she yearns for a different destiny. Unexpectedly, her wish is granted and she finds herself transported to the future. In the new Edo, she adjusts to her new reality.
