Only gradually are the indications that the investigators are not only dealing with the insane follower of a bizarre cult of Odin. Rather, Fabel and his colleagues are on the trail of a large-scale coup by the Ukrainian mafia. Its leader apparently has allies in the police. And he will stop at nothing to get unwelcome witnesses out of the way.
