TIANA SIZZLE
Tiana was born in Saigon, and has shuttled between Vietnam and the USA since she was 5-years-old. Her life has been a true adventure: Child of War, Karate Princess, Bride of God, Actress, Mom, Singer, Songwriter, Film Producer, Director, Widow of Peace, Philanthropist. She's done it all.
She has starred in Hollywood Feature Films, TV Miniseries, Game Shows, and was an early Music Video Pioneer on MTV. Tiana's journalistic insights have been featured on The Today Show, PBS Global Visions, The Huffington Post, Time Magazine, and numerous radio shows.
Tiana's award-winning 1995 film, From Hollywood to Hanoi, was the first American film shot in Vietnam after the end of the war. She is currently working on her documentary epic, The General and Me, slated to air in 2025, on the 50th anniversary of the Fall of Saigon. The General and Me is the story of her close friendship with the one of the most important men in Vietnamese history: General Giap, a history teacher who made history by liberating his country from the French and US armies.
Tiana has produced acclaimed movies and plays with her partner, Oscar and Tony winner Sir Christopher Hampton. Hampton-Silliphant Mgmt & Production LLC. has collaborated on A Dangerous Method, directed by David Cronenberg, Appomattox, a civil rights play/opera co-presented with Philip Glass at the Kennedy Center, and The Singapore Grip, an international TV mini-series exploring British colonialism in Singapore during the Japanese invasion of WWII.
