Without Charlie and Shaynna this show has lost what it was always about...realistic renovations on a budget to get a place sold.
Now? It's lost all of its charm as the renovations are so clearly hugely expensive and are just a vanity project for the charisma-free interior designer and landscaper...both of which look like they were the only two people willing to take on the gig.
Andrew also seems somewhat divorced from it all.
Like I said, the original premise was about helping people, desperate people, to sell their houses on a budget. It was supposed to show people how they can improve their homes where it counts to get a place sold. Now? It just feels like an episode of 'Better Homes and Gardens', with flights of fancy from an interior designer who CLEARLY has a huge budget to come up with HER dream place, and a landscaper who just has to scrape through with leftovers...and his lack of enthusiasm shows.
...a shame.
