I enjoyed series one and I've just started series two. I tried to watch it on my TV and then on my phone but could hardly see what was happening. The scenes are so dark that I could only see parts of the picture. It was a common complaint during series one and it is incredibly frustrating to see they've done the same in the new series. Searching online it appears that many other viewers are having the same problem. I finally managed to watch it on my laptop.
It's also been a long time since the first series so it takes some time to get back up to speed - I didn't find the recap particularly useful. Some people complain about it being slow but I quiet enjoy the pace of the show; not everything has to hit you at 100mph.

There are killings throughout the series but, despite this, there is a level of humour and things are kept relatively light. But then around Ep 13 it turns very dark with terrible psychological choices having to be made ...: who will die? Who will survive? The scenarios set up are truly horrific and are not in line with the earlier episodes. I would rate this a 7+ for the earlier episodes but struggle to rate the later ones. I feel I was conned - the last few episodes we're not what I signed up to. I have watched a lot of Korean drama and they are usually consistent throughout - this one switches direction so severely it's almost like there's a different director for the last part.
The basic premise is interesting and should draw you in .... But then things start to go downhill rapidly. Reactions are unrealistic and ruin any credibility - why not pass evidence to the police? Why follow a suspicious car in your helicopter? Etc.
There are some decent actors in this but Michelle Keegan is definitely not one of them. The young actors playing Claire's kids may be okay but the dialogue they're given is so poor it's hard to tell.
We made it half way through episode 2 before giving up.bu that point we had lost interest and also had absolutely no connection with the main character - in short, we no longer cared about the suspicious "death" of her husband.
